We are an all-volunteer, grassroots, community-based organization in southeastern North Carolina dedicated to supporting activities and electing leaders who share our values: clean water, responsible growth, ethical government, effective public schools, and a more affordable future for everyone. Together, we can protect the place we call home and build a stronger community for future generations. The issues we're fighting for in the 2026 election.
The Blue Beacons are fighting for safe drinking water across the Cape Fear region. Chemours polluted our river and groundwater with PFAS like GenX, and the cleanup still isn’t complete. [Learn more]
